Historic Craftsman Home Boiler Replacement

During the winter maintenance & safety inspection of this charming Historic Registered Craftsman Evanston home, our technician began searching for the root cause of the homeowner’s winter shivers. After discovering that there was low pressure in the system, he also found that there was a leak coming from the heat exchanger of a 34yo HE Weil McLain boiler. The technician and homeowners had a lengthy discussion about the system as a whole. Within three days we replaced both the cast iron boiler with a high efficiency boiler and atmospheric water heater with indirect water heater. We cleaned up the area and left the homeowners warm, toasty and ready to watch the falling snowflakes.
